Everyone I've heard from is fine. Nina D-M was a few feet away from the explosion when it happened, with her family, watching a relative finish, but they are all fine, amazingly.
everyone from our neck of the woods is ok. I think one person that works in the Hancock building was the closest to it all. She said it shook the building, otherwise ok. I was at the Brattle Theater seeing a movie while apparently CPD was dealing w/ a bomb threat a block away outside Brattle Sq. Fortunately it was just a threat...probably a suspicious package reported.
I'm so glad that everyone is alright. Whenever something like this happens, they bring the police out everywhere here, but I was a lot more worried about what's going on there.
