I just realized: I know of no experience I've had that was bad enough that I wouldn't want to do it again, more, harder-- in the right situation. My life is a sham. Do you have an experience that I might find abominable, or might change my life?

I'll do almost anything once.

Well I don't think I'd like to break my collarbone again. But in terms of never wanting to do something again, I don't know, I think often about "what if I could change one thing in the past", but I keep coming back to the fact that everything that has happened in my life was absolutely essential to bringing me to this point in time, right now. You change one thing, you change your entire life. It needs a bit of work, but I'm pretty happy with my life right now, so I think given the chance to do it all over again I don't think I'd really change anything. Also, IMHO, by saying that you'd change something in your life you've admitted that you were unable to learn anything from the experience. I don't consider any experience, even bad ones, a waste, if I can leave with a friend or a lesson.

I absolutely agree with you, and I try to live my life and appreciate my experiences so that I never have regrets. I don't think I would change anything, and I wouldn't want to wish I'd never done something.

But there's a difference between regretting something and not wanting to do it again. I don't want to do anything I know I'll regret, but I wouldn't mind doing something so fully that any interest I had in doing it again was sated for life.

In that case, I've got a list. These are just off the top of my head, things I never want to do again:

-Break someones heart
-Go to friends funeral
-Live with my father
-Say that mean thing I said to my brother when I was 15

And a couple other things I don't really feel like posting in a public forum.

Lol, don't ask questions you don't really want the answers to.

Hmm... What makes you think I don't want the answers?

You know I trust you. You know I'd try to do anything you suggested-- but there are places you've gone where I don't know how to follow.
