Time Gone

Where does the time go? I've been thinking a lot about the nature of time and the virtues and vices of priority.

I'm in Prague, in a huge two-bedroom, four-meter-high flat. Flame and I have started discovering the hip and eccentric as well as the beautiful and historical.

Since last post, we drove all over the south of France with friends, had adventures on low gas at midnight in nowhere, and attended the most precious contemporary art festival in the world (Art Basel).

The best way to know about my goings-on is to read Flame's blog on the Travelers Network: http://travelersnetwork.org/johanna.

I reccommend Bric-A-Brac near Old Town Square for eccentric. They have two stores and a wide and weird array of antiques. They're way more reasonably priced than anywhere else in town. Jack says skip the Museum of sex machines - it's a boring collection of dildos you could see in any modern sex shop. Also, you probably have already done this, but go to the top of Petrin Hill for sunset. It's awesome.

We did go to Bric-A-Brac and we actually were living right next to Petrin Hill and had a really nice picnic there. Bric-A-Brac turned out to be too expensive for us, but well worth the experience. It's such a treasure of curiosities!

Thank you for the suggestions! I'm sure we would have spent time on the hill, but not at sunset, and I would never have known about Bric-A-Brac otherwise.

Show us photos!!

I just read Johanna's blog; it's great to hear your travel exploits! A part of me envies your gas adventure ;) Beats my lost-in-Oakland-at-midnight adventure, I think.

Best of luck in your continued travels. Can't wait to see you in the desert!

I have 199 more minutes to go before my camera is empty. Unfortunately, more than half of my photos I took with Johanna's camera, so it's through a glass darkly.
